Q. What is EquiShopper?
EquiShopper is a shopping search engine that helps you compare products and stores online. Once EquiShopper has found a store with the product you want, you can click “Buy Now” to go directly to the store, where you can learn more about the product and, if you want, purchase the product.
Q. How do I register?
On the homepage click "Login" on the upper right hand of the screen. Under the New User box click "Register Now".
Q. I lost my password and/or username, where do I go to recover that information?
Click on the "login" icon on the homepage. On the next page you can enter in your email address and your account information will be emailed to you. If you do not find this email in your inbox be sure to check your spam/bulk folders as well.
Q. Do I have to be registered to user EquiShopper?
No, you do not have to be a registered user however being a registered user allows you to track products, create a wishlist, manage ratings, and more.
Q. What is My EquiShopper?
My EquiShopper is available to all registered users. Under this page you can edit your profile, manage your ratings, create a wishlist, track product ratings, and share your wishlist and ratings.
Q. What is a wishlist?
A wishlist is a list registered users can create to track products you are interested in but have not yet purchased. You can share this wishlist with friends and family as well.
Q. When I am logged in I see this icon next to my name, what does that stand for?
We have a rating system for all registered users. The more you use our site, the more your rating goes up. You can increase your rating by giving product and store reviews.
Q. How do I view a product?
First choose the brand or category that you are interested in. To view the product either click on the photo or name of that product.
Q. How do I purchase a product?
Once you find the product you wish you purchase all of the stores that carry the product are listed on that product page. Click the "Buy Now" icon next to the store you wish to purchase it from.
Q. I cannotfind the product I want on EquiShopper, can you help?
EquiShopper has developed an advanced search technology to help you find the product you are looking to buy. You can locate a product by clicking on the category tabs located to the left of every page. You can also locate a product by using our search bar on the top right of every page.
Q. How does EquiShopper choose which stores to list on its site?
EquiShopper searches as many online stores as possible. Some stores pay us a fee for premium placement in our search results, but at any time, you can choose to sort your results by brand or category.
Q. Can EquiShopper tell me how to fit new tack and equipment, such as the new blanket I just bought?
EquiShopper offers a variety of articles on our site that may assist you learning about your product. For example, we may feature articles such as blanket care and blanket fitting. However, specific questions regarding the product can be answered by contacting the manufacturer or one of the stores listed that carry that product.
Q. I've lost my product information. Can EquiShopper help me get a new one?
You need to contact the manufacturer of the product to acquire the information.
Q. Will the bridle that I am about to purchase fit my horse?
EquiShopper can help you locate products. However, to get specific assistance determining product size, fit, and other similar issues, you need to contact the product manufacturer or one of the stores listed that carry that product.
Q. If I have a problem with the merchandise I've ordered, will EquiShopper help me resolve it?
If you have a problem with the merchandise you've ordered, you need to contact the online or retail store you ordered it from.
Q. Where can I find articles on this site?
Articles (or Shopping Guides) are featured throughout our site. To view all of the articles click the "More" link under our Shopping Guide which is located on the right side of our homepage.
Q. Where can I find videos on this site?
Video tutorials are also featured throughout our site. To view all videos click on the "More" link under the Video Tutorials which is located on the right side of our homepage.
Q. How do I compare products?
You can compare products by first choosing the category or brand that you want to compare. Next to each product is a compare box. Check the compare box under each product you are interested in. Then click the compare icon next to one of the products checked. A compare page will then appear.
Q. How do I rate a product?
When viewing a product the product rating is located on the bottom of that page. You will then see an option to “rate it”. You can rate the product as well as leave a review.
Q. How do I rate a store?
When viewing a product the store rating is located next to each store that is listed. Click on "rate this store" next to the store's name. Store ratings can also be done by doing a "Shop by Store" to go to that store's product page. The store ratings are located at the bottom of their product page. You can rate the store as well as leave a review.
Q. How do I get my Tack Store or brand featured on EquiShopper?
Click “Join Us” on the bottom on any page to learn how to feature your store or brand on our site.
Q. I want to advertise on EquiShopper, who do I contact?
Currently only brand stores are allowed to advertise on EquiShopper.
